There is another place to explore street art in Puerto de la Cruz beyond the better-known wall murals of La Ranilla. We have filmed this hotspot on several visits, and the changing paintings make a return especially rewarding. Here is where to find it, how to enjoy it respectfully and how to watch the artwork change through our videos. The films show what was there when we visited, rather than a promise that a particular mural is still visible today.
Where is the street art hotspot?
The hotspot is marked Street Art on the map pin supplied by our local team, at approximately 28.405450, -16.538570 in Puerto de la Cruz. Copy those coordinates into your map app to find the marked point. It is away from the La Ranilla mural route in the old town, so plan this as a separate stop rather than expecting to come across it during that walk.
Use the public approach and check the surroundings when you arrive. The pin identifies the area; it does not guarantee access to every wall or artwork. There is no ticketed exhibition or fixed display, and what you see can differ from the films below.
Why go back more than once?
This is a place for changing street art, with both large pieces and smaller marks recorded in our videos. New work can appear, older work can be painted over and a wall may look quite different from one visit to the next. That is part of the reason we return with a camera. Look at the whole wall, then the details and layers you might miss on a first pass.

Enjoy the artwork, take photographs and give others space to do the same. Please do not draw, write, tag, paint or stick anything over the murals. People have drawn over existing work here, and another mark can take away what an artist and other visitors came to share. Leave each wall as you find it, keep the area tidy, and respect nearby residents and any boundaries or closed entrances. You can appreciate a changing art space without changing it yourself.
