What Is Puerto de la Cruz en Flor?
Every two years, Puerto de la Cruz en Flor invites residents and visitors to enjoy the town’s gardens and discover more of the Canary Islands’ floral diversity. CIT has organised the festival since 2008, with support from local organisations and businesses. This is the tenth edition, and a lovely time to look again at the green spaces woven through Puerto de la Cruz.
The festival takes place in alternate years to the Agatha Christie Festival. Each edition has its own activities; the 2024 programme should not be treated as the 2026 schedule.
Confirmed 2026 Activity: Hotel Tigaiga Garden Tour
The first announced activity is a guided tour of the gardens at Hotel Tigaiga on Monday 26 October at 10:00, presented with Úrsula Talg and the hotel. Places require advance registration. Email info@citpuerto.com with your full name and contact telephone number to request your place.
CIT has not stated an admission charge in the announcement. Check this when registering. We will add other confirmed activities to this page when the 2026 programme is released.
Where Does the Festival Take Place?
Puerto de la Cruz en Flor is a town-wide festival, so the location depends on the activity you choose. The confirmed opening tour is at Hotel Tigaiga in Puerto de la Cruz. Further venues will be added as CIT announces the programme.

The Hotel Tigaiga garden tour begins at 10:00 on 26 October. Register beforehand with CIT at info@citpuerto.com, giving your full name and contact telephone number. Ask CIT to confirm your place and any admission details. For the remaining days of the festival, wait for the official 2026 programme before planning around a particular tour or workshop.
