Halloween comes to the streets of Puerto de la Cruz on Saturday 31 October 2026. Bring your costume for an afternoon of family activities in Calle Perdomo and Plaza del Charco, then stay for the costume contest and music in the square. The celebration starts at 12:00 and the DJs continue until 01:00 on Sunday 1 November.

A Halloween Day and Night in the Town Centre
There is something to enjoy at different times of day. Calle Perdomo hosts the earlier children’s activities, while Plaza del Charco becomes the centre of the afternoon workshops and costume contest. In the evening, the square turns into an open-air Halloween party with four DJs.
Dress up if you fancy joining the fun. The contest includes individual, pairs and group categories for children and adults, so families and friends can take part together.

The workshop and contest times overlap, so you can enjoy the afternoon atmosphere while choosing what to take part in. The music continues into the first hour of Sunday morning.
Where Is It Happening?
Start at Calle Perdomo for the 12:00–16:00 children’s activities. From 16:00, the scheduled workshops are in Plaza del Charco, where the costume contest and DJs also take place. Both are in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, so it is easy to move between the two parts of the programme.
Before You Visit
The council has published the times and activities, but its announcement does not specify admission, reservations or how to enter the costume contest. Check the official events listing for any new instructions if you intend to compete. The family programme and late DJ party are separate parts of the same town-centre celebration.
Make an Evening of It
If you are coming with children, arrive in the afternoon for the workshops and costume fun. The DJ programme starts at 20:00 and finishes at 01:00, so plan your journey home if you will stay for the full evening.
