A Different Way to Spend an Evening in Taoro

Serenada brings songs, poems and piano into a shared garden setting. Move between the church, the outdoor performance area and the terrace for a programme that invites you to arrive early and stay for several performances.

Spanish-language poetry is part of the experience, alongside live music and acoustic songs. Each evening closes with Somnolescencia Programada, a quiet listening session designed to let the day settle.

Music and Poetry Highlights

Depedro brings an acoustic set on Friday at 21:15. His music draws on influences from Latin America, Africa and the Mediterranean.

On Saturday at 21:00, Sheila Blanco presents Cantando a las poetas del ’27, setting the work of women poets to music at the piano. Entry is free until capacity is reached.

Cantando Poetas brings Canarian musicians together around new songs inspired by poetry. Saturday’s Palabras al Sereno, coordinated by Sara Micocci, shares the work of the participating poets with the public.

Tickets and Getting There

For Depedro’s concert, use the official Serenada website for the ticket release. At the time of checking, it still says “Entradas próximamente” — tickets coming soon. Other public performances are free, subject to capacity; free access does not guarantee a seat.

The festival identifies Taoro bus stop (4101), beside the Radisson, as the nearest stop. Check current bus times before travelling. Parking near the park is limited, and a taxi is another option for the uphill journey from the centre.

For access questions, contact info@serenada.es.

Make the Most of Your Visit

Arrive a little before your chosen performance to find your space. Bring a light layer for the later outdoor sessions, and allow time for the uphill walk if coming on foot. Keep your ticket QR code ready if attending Depedro.
