Being a regular visitor to Puerto we have our favourite restaurants, as, I imagine, do most people. However we are also keen to try new ones. Restaurante Laura is one of those.
Previously called Bar Kari, under Apartamentos Anatolia on Av. Blas Pérez Gonzàlez, it closed last year, when the owners retired.
Now reopened as Bar-Restaurante Laura, the new owners, Mircea and Laura, from Romania, are keen to stamp their identity on the place.
With a brand new menu, literally the day we left, I believe this hard working couple will do ok.
The food is very reasonably priced, with a good mixture of snacks and plates. They even cook Romanian specialties, even though they're not on the menu. Our favourite was the Mitch.
