La Casa Del Kebab Review

Not my usual choice of food, but the other half fancied a kebab and so we decided to try La Casa del Kebab located on the corner of Calle La Hoya.

Open every day except Wednesday with outdoor seating so that you can sit, and people watch, this was a great place to sit and enjoy some food.

We were made very welcome by Alessia, who was very friendly and very efficient with her service.

We decided to have a starter of falafel (which were very tasty indeed!) and two types of borek (one with cheese and onion and the other with spinach and feta cheese) served on a bed of lettuce and raw cabbage, dribbled with a smooth tasty yoghurt sauce.    To be honest, this would have been enough for me as the portion sizes were very big.

However, we had come for a kebab, so a kebab we had and my goodness me, that was huge – stuffed full of meat and salad.  This came with a very spicy sauce which I must admit I was not brave enough to try but my partner confirmed, it was very hot and spicy!!

We had a couple of soft drinks with our meal, but other alcoholic alternatives were available.

If you are looking to enjoy a kebab you should give this place a try.    As well as a great Turkish selection of food, they also serve hamburgers, sandwiches, German sausage dishes and have a good selection of vegetarian options too!

Take away service available as well.
