Compostelana Plaza del Charco

Part of a chain of 7 restaurants, all but one being in Puerto de la Cruz, we choose to eat here as we both fancied some pasta!

As with the service at all the restaurants in this group, it is efficient but not overly friendly!
We sat outside on the pavement, choosing to sit on the more comfortable chairs with cushions rather than the wooden ones that looked as if they had been set up as an after thought to cope with a busy evening!

The tables were nicely laid but quite close together so if you could easily join in with the conversation happening at the table next to you.

The menu here is as you would expect being as they specialise in Pizza and Pasta, although the menu does extend to include meat and fish dishes, risottos, soups and salads.

My partner had a meat lasagne which was absolutely piping hot when it was served.  I chose the boloñesa sauce with tagliatelle which was very tasty and rather a large serving.

We saw quite a few pizzas being served as well, they seemed very popular and they were huge!

With a main course and a bottle of wine the total cost for our meal was 45 euros.

The restaurant does have inside seating as well, although the only people who were using it whilst we were there was the chef whilst on his break!   Fully air conditioned so it might be worth noting that for summer months.

Easily accessible and clean toilets too.

We also have reviews of other restaurants in the Compostelana Group here!
