Restaurante China Mandarín III Review

This restaurant is located on the first floor overlooking the Plaza del Charco and it is very popular, although this could be because it has very little competition!

The service was very friendly and in typical Chinese fashion, very quick. The portions were large and meant that we ended up taking some home with us.  They charged us for the takeout pots and the bag they put them in!  It wasn’t much, but just worth a mention.

We had prawn crackers to start with whilst we mulled over the menu. We then had a portion of spring rolls and for the main course, I opted for noodles with chicken and my partner had chicken in lemon sauce with egg fried rice.   She was a bit disappointed that the chicken came in a batter but perhaps that is just the way this restaurant chooses to serve it.  The chicken in both dishes was very tender – not rubbery or overcooked as it can sometimes be.

With a bottle of wine, our meal cost us 49,70 euros which we considered to be reasonable.

For any one gluten free, there were some options available too.

If you are lucky enough to get a seat on the balcony then you will have a fab view over the Plaza del Charco.

The only draw back that I could see was that it was on the first floor and there were plenty of stairs to climb to get to it. There didn’t appear to be a lift or a wheelchair accessibility option.    The toilets would also not accommodate a wheelchair either.

Many thanks to Simon Jerrison, a member of our Facebook Group, for his review of Restaurante China Mandarín III.
