Preparations are under way for Puerto de la Cruz to once again host the Spartan Race this weekend.
Spartan athletes from all over Europe will compete in 3 main categories: Sprint 5K, Super 10K & Beast 21K. There is also a Kids 1-4k group for the smaller Spartans
Each race is designed to push competitors to their limits both mentally and physically as they navigate a mix of obstacles.
