A market morning in the church grounds

Around 50 stallholders have taken part on busy market days, although the line-up changes from month to month. The tables spread through the grounds of All Saints Anglican Church in Parque Taoro, giving you room to wander, meet people and see what is new. Locals, holidaymakers and members of Puerto’s international community all make this a lively, welcoming morning.

The church has been part of Puerto de la Cruz for more than 130 years and is regarded as the oldest Anglican church building in Spain. If the setting catches your interest, explore our All Saints Church guide after your visit.

What can you find at the Rastro?

You can find almost anything here: second-hand books, clothes and shoes, fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, jewellery, handmade soaps, paintings, gifts, jams, cakes and pies. Some sellers bring vintage or pre-loved pieces; others make or grow what they sell. It is worth walking all the way round before deciding what to take home.

All Saints has its own fundraising stalls too. If you would like a pitch at a future market, contact the churchwarden for the current arrangements.

Coffee, cakes and a place to pause

The Cottage Coffee Shop is a favourite place for tea or coffee while you are browsing. You may also find homemade cakes, biscuits and other treats among the market stalls. What is available depends on the day, so see what catches your eye when you arrive.

Stay for food and drink

You can make a morning of the Rastro rather than rushing through the stalls. The Bistro serves food on market days, and there is also an outdoor barbecue and a Bar for refreshments. The food and drink selection changes, so choose from what is being served on the day.

Have a look in the boutique

Do not miss the Boutique. It stocks good-quality pre-loved women’s and men’s clothing at approachable prices. It has its own character and is well worth a look even if you have already explored the outdoor stalls.

Children can enjoy activities while you browse

The church organises activities for children inside during the Rastro. Parents can drop off their children there and browse the stalls, then collect them afterwards. Ask the team inside the church about the activities and collection arrangements on the day. Children under 12 enter the market free.

The church is also open for visitors who would like a quiet moment or to light a candle.

Where is it?

The market takes place in the grounds of All Saints Anglican Church, Carretera Taoro 29, beside Parque Taoro above central Puerto de la Cruz. The walk from the centre is uphill. A taxi or bus can be easier if you would rather save your energy for browsing, and you can continue through the gardens afterwards with our Parque Taoro guide.

There is no parking on the church grounds. Dogs cannot enter, except service dogs.

Take a look around the market

Our video from October 2025 captures the stalls, people and atmosphere at All Saints. Treat it as a look around a past market day; the mix of sellers changes each month.
