Titsa Bus Service
It can be daunting, travelling on public transport in a place you're not used to. So many questions mean tourists may avoid visiting different areas of the island for fear of: Getting on the wrong bus. Not being able to get back. Having no idea how to read the bus timetable. Getting lost. Not knowing... Continue reading→
The New Robin Hood
For the Brits among us who like a little bit of home cooking even whilst they are abroad, I would just like to say how great the Sunday Roast is at the New Robin Hood located under the Bel Air (the tall building!) First of all you do need to book in advance as Phil... Continue reading→
Terraza del Marquesa
We look love to eat at this restaurant for two main reasons. The first is because it is a great place to people watch and the second is because there is a singer – so we can enjoy some live music whilst we eat our meal. Located on the front terrace of the Hotel Marquesa... Continue reading→

Plaza Compostelana
Thoroughly enjoyed a meal in one of the Compostelana Restuarants. This chain has five restaurants in Puerto de la Cruz and one in Santa Cruz. Two of their restaurants are dotted around the edge of the Plaza del Charco. The restaurant in the centre of the square itself is also part of their group. We... Continue reading→
Ibéricos Gastro-Bar
Along Calle de Hoya, just up from The Beehive, is a lovely restaurant that we really recommend for lunch or dinner Ibéricos Gastro-Bar is just that, gastro. Which means it's not a cheap place to eat. It does, however, serve amazing, fresh, homemade food and that is what you are paying for.
The English Library
A little gem of a place, the English Library is located in the Parque Taoro area of Puerto de la Cruz. It first opened its doors in 1903 and since then has been a focal point for the British ex pat community in the north of the island of Tenerife. Run solely by volunteers, its... Continue reading→
