Restaurante Divino Review

This little restaurant is located around the edge of Plaza del Charco, open every day except Wednesdays.   No indoor seating, only outside so bear this in mind in the winter months as when we went, they did not have many heaters!

The service is super friendly and very efficient.  The menu covers most tastes including shellfish, paella, fish, meat, pasta and pizzas.

I have a particular favourite in this restaurant, and it is the salmon papillote with gratinated potatoes and vegetables.  The salmon is cooked slowly in the oven with some olive oil, dill and lemon and wrapped in tin foil.  It is unwrapped and served at your table.   Served piping hot and a large piece with no bones.   I would say the vegetables are a little disappointing as they were just a mix of onions and red peppers.   However overall, a meal that I really enjoyed.

The other half is a meat eater and he opted for grilled entrecote with salad and potatoes (although he got chips).  The meat was well cooked and plenty of it.  The salad could have been larger as it really was not much more than a garnish, but overall, a nice meal.

Our total bill including a bottle of wine (which was 27 euros on its own – our choice as we particular like the wine from Lanzarote) was just short of 60 euros.

We would visit again but probably in the warmer months!   Nice easy access for wheelchair users and pushchairs.  Toilets are a bit of a hike to get to and are communal (as in shared with all of the other bars and restaurants close by)

We found this place to be one of our favourites. Staff very good, food very good and the drinks were extra special. Will definitely go back there.
