MUECA is the celebration of art, culture and creativity in Puerto de la Cruz. An explosion of optimism and energy that turns the streets into the scene of an avant-garde proposal for circus arts, theater, music, cinema and dance.
It is an International Street Art Festival that provokes intergenerational meetings and offers all audiences the opportunity to enjoy local, national and international artistic proposals.
Since 2020, it has been recognized by the Contemporary Foundation through the Observatory of Culture as one of the most outstanding festivals in the Canary Islands.
In 2023, Festival MUECA obtained Cultural Insignia as the most outstanding festival in the region, positioning it as a European cultural benchmark and establishing the ecosystem of the port city as a powerful tool for the social and economic development of the municipality, attracting the interest of the resident and visiting public.
