Fergus Hotel Review

My sister and I flew to Tenerife for my first ever holiday abroad, we stayed at The Fergus from September 22-29th. I've included many videos and pics from our stay at the Fergus, so hopefully this'll help anyone who has booked to stay there.

All of the staff, from house keeping, reception and the restaurant were amazing So polite, helpful, and always happy. We stayed in a Magnus Suite on floor 7, which is the only floor that gives access to the two private roof terraces . One had many huge double beds, seating and softly playing music, with breath taking views of PDLC. The other had tables and lots of comfortable chairs, and again amazing views.

The restaurant was large, bright and super clean, with a different main menu each day, though there was also the daily regular choices to. The salad bar, cheeses and meats were my favourite. The hot food wasn't very hot, but I still couldn't fault it because it was delicious. The desserts, cakes, pastries, fruits, ice cream selection, wines, teas, coffees and beers were an absolute treat. Let's not forget breakfast which had a great selection of fruits, yogurts, pastries, hot foods and much more.

The lower pool by the restaurant wasn't for us, it was busy, loud, and very slippery but the top pool was the total opposite. It was relaxing, chilled, quiet, and had a more grown up vibe about it which was perfect for us. So both pools have something for everyone. Our balcony overlooked the Agatha Christie steps, the sunrise and sunsets are something that'll stay with me forever. On the down side the entertainment didn't start until 9.45-10pm in the evening and the so called Free Fergus bus never arrived, even though we arrived at the correct pick up point 15 minutes early and even waited for another 20 minutes after the so called pick up times. We went back to reception to inform them but in all honesty they weren't really bothered judging by their response. For my first ever holiday abroad this was a great hotel, and PDLC has captured my heart.

Thank you to group member Gwen Ridgard for her review about the Hotel Fergus.
