Esencias Café is a few kilometers outside of Puerto de la Cruz, in nearby Santa Ursula. Its a little drive or bus ride from the usual tourist trail but well worth the effort.
Open everyday except Sunday from 8 am, there is indoor and outdoor seating but it is wise to book in advance as it gets very busy with local residents .
I always enjoy my lunch when I go here.
A set 3 course lunch with usually 3 choices for each means most tastes are catered for.
The Set Menu changes daily as it is a cookery training school!
The last time I visited and had the 3-course menu and it was 14 euros. Price does not include drinks as they were extra.
