This restaurant is in La Paz, opposite the entrance to the botanical gardens. There is outdoor seating available on the terrace, plus indoor seating too. The inside was very nicely decorated, with an eye to detail prevailing. The tables being laid very attractively – a sign that the owners like things to be done correctly!
We went here to try the burgers as it seems to be the food, they are most recognised for! There were a variety of options – all very tempting.
I choose the England Burger which consisted of burger, bacon, cheese and egg. My partner had the Lamb Burger – which had a very generous lamb burger with pink onions, cheese, tomato and lettuce. We both ordered sides of chips to accompany our burgers.
Both burgers were delicious, cooked just right and served hot, and I have to say were huge! We certainly were not disappointed with the quality or the quantity.
The menu is varied, so if you are not a burger eater, there are many other options – fresh fish, steak, tapas and some interesting Bulgarian dishes too. The usual array of drinks is available, including local wines from Tenerife and wines from Bulgaria.
The service however was friendly and welcoming. The robotic machine they use for helping to clear the tables is novelty and I would think, possibly a one off in Puerto de la Cruz.
Reservations for the evenings are recommended.
