Restaurante La Marea & Copacabana Cocktail Bar Review

This restaurant is located just off the Plaza del Charco and always seems to be a popular choice for holidaymakers.    The service is friendly and efficient.

Sit and soak up the atmosphere on the ample street terrace or if you prefer, there is inside seating too.

There is a wide variety of food (including a couple of vegetarian and limited vegan options) tapas, salads, fish dishes, meat dishes, burgers, pasta and pizzas – so definitely something for everyone!

I had the salmon with mustard and tarragon sauce, which was very nice!  This came with a fresh garnish of salad with dressing and papas arrugadas.    I will have this again the next time I go back.

My partner had a Black Angus burger – which should have come with onions and cheese, but he opted to just have it plain without any sauce.   Disappointing that the chips were not fresh but nevertheless the burger was cooked just as he liked it, and he enjoyed it!

We had a bottle of wine with our meal, although the one that we wanted which was on the wine list was not available, the recommended replacement option was just as good.

Total cost of our meal was 48 euros
