Restaurante La Pimienta Review

The restaurant is perched on a steep hill. However inside everything is one floor including toilets so it is good for people with mobility issues who could be dropped at the entrance. I didn't notice if the door is wide enough for wheelchair access.

During busy times the parking around the restaurant is full but proceed about 100 meters up the hill and take the first street on the left. There you will find ample parking on a lovely wide Street with beautiful vistas.

We went on Saturday past with some friends from PDLC to this fish only restaurant. It was bustling with local people it seemed (always a good sign). I was apprehensive because although I am from a fishing town on the North Atlantic I'm not familiar with the kinds of fish here nor do we serve fish with skin, or bones (or eyes). Our Canarian friends ordered everything for the table to share including the salad - enough for six! And they passed around two types of perfectly grilled fish which they filleted for us. I tried everything even the octopus (which previously terrified me) and will say that everything was totally fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. If you are a fish lover this place is for you. But do make a reservation!

I especially liked the open kitchen to watch all the cooking.

I will also add that they have a great dessert selection; we ordered several and I tried all, my favourite being the lemon mousse. Sublime.
