Parque Taoro provides visitors with a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In this virtual tour, we'll immerse you in the park's captivating sights that make it so special.
The beautiful Parque Taoro is located on the mountain that gives it its name. The park covers 100,000 square metres consisting of walkways, lush gardens, fountains and waterfalls, and of course the most superb panoramic view over the town of Puerto de la Cruz.
The Parque Taoro consists of three main areas: La Atalaya, Camino de La Sortija and the Gardens of Taoro.
La Sortija is popular with joggers and runners, as well as families who enjoy the children’s play park located at the café. This area is also the location of the All Saints Anglican Church (the oldest Anglican Church Spain).
The old Gran Hotel Taoro (currently being refurbished) was inaugurated in 1890 and overlooks La Sortija. An aerial update video on their progress is available here.
There is a restaurant with terrace and views to over Puerto de la Cruz located in the Taoro Gardens.
